FBMA DISTRICT 7 FLORIDA SHERRIFF'S YOUTH RANCH ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
DECEMBER 2014
When Ralph Curtis was elected and installed as District 7 President he was already thinking of ways to promote being the heart of the Community on a District level. He invited all the lodges in his jurisdiction to place an Angle Tree and with the purpose of purchasing gifts for kids that were staying at the Bartow Youth Ranch. The teenage girls were able to provide a wish list and Angel Trees went out the lodges in November. After the December District 7 Meeting, all the gifts were collected, Ralph and his wife Terese went to the Ranch to hand out the gifts. As shown in the pictures, on December 18, 2014, Ralph makes a great Santa. Thank you to all the Moose and Co-workers that helped make this a reality. The girls really appreciated the support and had a great time with Ralph and Terese.
District 7 Lodges & Chapters Open Their Hearts And Wallets
To Support Angel Tree Program
December 18, 2014...Therese and I went to Bartow, Florida, traveling 225 miles round trip, it was fun and we got pictures with 41 kids. Erika Key, Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Program Director and Frank Kenny, CFP introduced us to the kids and showed us around. I am proud of the District 7 Lodges and Chapters for doing a great job collecting gifts as part of our angle tree program. I hope we can do something like this again.
